Dr. Grove also co-developed the first diode laser ever to be used for professional laser hair removal. The success of the professional diode laser prompted the idea for a device that could permanently remove hair right in the comforts of home.

Tria Beauty Laser – How does it work?
Tria Beauty targets the dark pigments in your hair and then releases heat. This heat will absorb in the pigments, which will inflame and disable the hair follicles. This prevents hair growth. Dark hair absorbs light better than other hues; therefore, this laser is only effective on black or brown hair.
